Ready to show off your furry friend? Entering The Great Brit(ISH) Bark Off is easy and helps support a great cause. Follow these simple steps to get your pet's photo entered and potentially be in our featured gallery. The closing date for this is 31st December 2026 with the winners announced by 14th of Jan 2027
Your step-by-step guide to entering
Participating in The Great Brit(ISH) Bark Off and helping to raise funds for Refuge is straightforward. We've outlined the process below to make it as easy as possible for you to get involved and share your beloved pets with our community.
Email us your photos, Don't forget to include your pet's name in the title of the email and send it to entries@the-great-brit-ish-bark-off.co.uk so we can reconcile your photo against your donation made via https://www.justgiving.com/page/strongertogether26. We ask that no human faces are in the photo please to protect your privacy and we will crop/blur out any human faces that slip the net for published photos.
Your pet's privacy is our priority. Rest assured, your pet's name will be kept confidential and stored securely offline. We will not publish it on our site without your explicit permission.
If your pet wins or places in the top three, we will reach out to discuss the best way to celebrate your achievement on the winners' page.
Step 1: Make your donation
To enter, please donate £2 for each photo you wish to enter to: https://www.justgiving.com/page/strongertogether26
Please clearly display your pet's name and quote "GBBO" in the donation comments so we can link it to their entry.
Step 2: Send us your photo
Please send entries to: entries@the-great-brit-ish-bark-off.co.uk
Please make sure you put your pets name on these so we can reconcile against your donation.
Step 3: See your pet in the gallery
Once we receive your donation and photo, we will securely store your pet's picture offline. Our team will carefully review all submissions, selecting the top 50 in each category to present to our judges. They will determine the overall Champion and two Runners-Up for each category. Additionally, a diverse range of entries will be showcased in our photo gallery for everyone to enjoy!
Once the competition concludes on December 31, 2026, we will announce our overall Champion and showcase the top three photos in each category on our site by January 14, 2027. Each category's overall winner will be honoured with the title "The Great Brit(ISH) Bark Off Champion 2026."
Our GBBO Champions and runners-up will remain featured on our Champions page for an additional month, which will be published after the entry period closes and judging is finalised.
Important details for your entry
Please ensure your photos are clear and show your pet's name in the donation comments for easy identification. We want to make sure every lovely face gets the recognition it deserves in our gallery.
